My academic interests in social behavior and the importance of spatial dynamics have been strongly influenced by my interests in dance and social movement.  As professional dancer and instructor, I have extensive experience with the role of movement in social interaction.   I have special interests in the different response styles individuals have to others (in partner or group dancing) and how these influence the social and spatial dynamics that emerge at the aggregate level.
